Who we are
Our company is an investment management company that acts as the Trustee, Manager and Investment Manager of several closed end investment funds that trade on the TSX. We are currently experiencing a rapid expansion of our business and are looking for an Administrative Assistant professional.

Job Description
Specific accountabilities will include:

  • Support for the accounting department and other staff as required.
  • Assist with processing of transactions with regards to the funds.
  • Creating reports.
  • Photocopying and other administrative duties.
  • Other duties as requested by management.

What's on offer
The successful candidate will report to the COO and be willing to support other staff as required. Salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate's skills and experience.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will possess most or all of the following:

  • 5 years experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office with fairly advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Numerate
  • Technology savvy
  • University Degree – Business or Commerce degree preferable
  • Canadian Securities Course
  • Conducts and Practices Handbook Course would be an asset
